Leaf: leaflet length 2--4 × width, tip generally rounded or truncate. 

Inflorescence: 1--4-flowered; peduncle straight. 

Ecology: Pine belt upwards, wet meadows with aspen or willows, rocky slopes, alpine; 

Elevation: 1700--3900 m. 

Bioregional Distribution: CaR, SN, SNE; 

Distribution Outside California: Nevada.
